Creamed Cucumbers

Ingredients
  Diced pared cucumber 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Boiling water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Medium white sauce 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Mace 1⁄2 Dash (Speck)
Directions

Cook the cucumbers in the water with salt for 15 min., or until tender; then drain.
Combine with the white sauce to which a speck of mace has been added.
