Dilly Cucumbers And Red Onions
|English cucumber||1 , cut into 1/4 inch slices|
|Red onion||1 , thinly sliced|
|White vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped fresh dill/1 teaspoon dried dill weed||1 Tablespoon|
|White pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Combine cucumber and onion in a bowl.
2. In a small bowl, combine vinegar, water, sugar, oil, dill, salt and pepper. Pour over cucumber mixture; toss to coat thoroughly.
3. Chill for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
