Havana Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
  Cooked sweet potatoes/Yams 6
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Rum 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Light brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs), packed
  Chopped peanuts/Toasted filberts 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat your oven to 300°F

MAKING
2. In a greased 9"X14" baking dish, add pared nad halved sweet potatoes and add slt and pepper for seasoning
3. In a small saucepan, stir butter and rum together over low flame until the butter melts
4. Pour the rum mixture over the sweet potaoes, sprinlkle brown sugar and chopped nuts and bake without a lid for twenty minutes till the sauce is bubbly

SERVING
5. Serve as appropriate
