Pastry Shell And Cutouts
Prepare 2 sticks pastry mix according to package directions.
Roll out half of pastry to 1/8 inch; line 8 inch pie plate.
Trim crust even with edge of pie plate.
Prick bottom and sides well with fork.
Roll remaining pastry.
With tiny cutter, cut out pastry hearts; overlap hearts around moistened rim of unbaked pastry shell.
Using cooky cutters or cardboard patterns, make cutouts for top of pie; place on baking sheet.
Bake in very hot oven (450Â°) 8 to 10 minutes for pie shell and about 5 minutes for cutouts or till golden brown.
