|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Coconut||2 Cup (32 tbs), flaked or shredded|
|Chocolate chips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Melt butter in a skillet.
Add coconut and saute until light brown, stirring constantly.
Press firmly on bottom and sides of an 8,- or 9-inch pie pan.
Cool for 30 minutes before filling.
When using chocolate chips, add them to coconut mixture just before pressing into pie pan.
