Special Coconut Crust
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Flaked coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Toasted And Cooled)|
Mix salt and flour.
Cut in shortening.
Stir in coconut.
Blend in 3 tablespoons milk, or enough to make a dough that will form a ball.
Roll out between 2 sheets of wax paper to fit pie pan.
Crimp edges and bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 10 to 12 minutes.
