Crème Pattissiere

This Crème Pattissiere is just as srumptious as it is easy to make. Why not give this Crème Pattissiere a try this season and impress your guests the way they never expected.
Ingredients
  Milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Vanilla bean 1 Inch
  All purpose flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg yolks 8
Directions

MAKING
1)In a saucepan, heat milk and vanilla bean to the boiling point.
2)In another saucepan, mix flour, cornstarch, sugar and egg yolks and mix thoroughly.
3)Slowly, add hot milk and continue to stir until smooth.
4)Cook on very low heat until mixture is thickened. Keep stirring. Cool.

SERVING
5)Use this mixture for filling the small cream puffs.
