Summer Squash In Cream
Summer squash in cream is a baked squash recipe made with cream. Seasoned to taste with added butter, the summer squash bake is herbed with parsley and is a very simple and homely squash preparation.
|Summer squash||4 Medium|
|All purpose cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
Butter deep baking dish.
Peel squash; remove seeds.
Slice squash into dish.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper; dot with butter.
Place in preheated 400°F oven; cover.
When tender, add cream; cook, uncovered, until slightly browned.
Sprinkle with parsley.
