Whipped Cream Waffles
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Egg yolks||4 , well beaten|
|Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped|
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl; mix well.
Blend butter into beaten egg yolks, then fold whipped cream into egg yolk mixture.
Add to dry ingredients and stir only until blended.
Beat egg whites until stiff, not dry, peaks are formed.
Gently fold into batter.
Bake in a waffle baker (following manufacturer's directions).
