Sour Cream Coleslaw

Ingredients
  Cabbage 1⁄2 Medium, finely shredded
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  French mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed with 1 teaspoon salt
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Sliced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pepper To Taste, cored, seeded and shredded (red or green variety)
  Green shallots 6 , shredded
  Light sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped parsley 3 Tablespoon
  Snipped chives 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Put cabbage into a large bowl. Combine oil, vinegar, mustard and garlic and beat with a fork until thick. Add to cabbage and mix well. Top with celery, shredded peppers and shallots. Chill well. Just before leaving for the picnic, toss salad with sour cream, parsley and chives, mixing lightly.
