Almond Cream

Ingredients
  Ground rice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Ground almonds 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Rose water 2 Tablespoon
  Toasted slivered almonds/Sliced almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Strawberries 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Whipped cream 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Make a thin paste from ground rice and1/4cup milk. Place remaining milk in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir in ground rice paste, salt and sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture begins to bubble. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often. Stir in ground almonds, blending well. Remove from heat and allow to cool a little, stirring occasionally. Stir in rosewater and pour into 6 individual glass coupes or wine glasses. Chill at least 2 hours. Serve decorated with toasted slivered almonds and if liked a little whipped cream or a few sliced strawberries.
