Sour Cream Sugar Cookies
|Cake flour||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Thick sour cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped dates/Chopped raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Mix and sift the dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening very fine as for pastry.
Beat eggs and add to the cream.
Add sifted brown sugar to cream and combine with the dry ingredients.
Add nuts and fruit.
Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet and bake in a moderate oven (350Â°F.) 16 minutes.
