If you are one of those who never get their cookie right, this recipe for Frosted Ginger Creams is one of its kind that will never let you down. So simple, all spiced up and flavored with molasses, this Frosted Ginger Creams tastes just increible, to say the least!
Ingredients
  Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Egg yolks 2 , beaten (or 1 egg)
  Molasses 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cake flour 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Soda 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cream shortening with sugar and spices.
Add egg and beat well Add molasses and milk and blend.
Stir in flour sifted with soda and salt.
Add raisins.
Spread 1/4 inch deep in 2 well greased 10x15 inch pans.
Bake 12 minutes at 350°F.
Cool in pans and spread with Confectioners' Icing.
Cut in squares or diamonds.
