Beef In Sour Cream
|Beef round||2 Pound, cut into 1 inch pieces|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Large, sliced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Beef broth||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Frozen peas||1 Cup (16 tbs), thawed|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||2 , diced|
Sprinkle meat with lemon juice, then flour.
Allow to stand for 10 minutes.
Heat butter and oil in large skillet; brown the meat
Add onion, garlic, beef broth, salt, and pepper; cover.
Cook over low heat 1 hour or until meat is fork-tender.
This may be done in the morning and reheated at mealtime.
Just before serving, add thawed peas, sour cream, and tomatoes.
Allow this to get hot over low heat, then serve at once.
Noodles go well with this.
