Spiced Whipped Cream Topping
|Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pure vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Pumpkin pie spice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1 In a bowl, whip cream until it forms soft peaks.
2 Blend in sugar, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice.
3 Beat the mixture until well blended and stiff.
4 On top of an 8- or 9-inch cake layer, spread the mixture.
5 Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.
Excellent with chocolate, spice, applesauce, white or yellow cake.
