Sour Cream Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
  Sifted flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Firmly packed light brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Quick cooking oatmeal 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Sift the dry ingredients together and set aside till required
2. Preheat the oven to 425°

MAKING
3. In another bowl, tip in the butter, sugar, and egg and blend well till combined.
4. Add the vanilla and mix again.
5. Mix the sifted dry ingredients to the wet ingredients alternating the dry ingredients with the sour cream
6. Lastly mix in all of the raisins, nuts and oatmeal and mix well
7. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture on to a greased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes till done
8. Remove from cookie sheet and set aside to cool on cake racks

SERVING
9. Serve warm or at room temperature
