|Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|White sugar||1 Teaspoon|
|Salt grains||To Taste|
Chill the cream, beaters or whisk, and bowl until they are thoroughly cold.
Beat or whisk the cream until it stands in soft peaks.
Be careful not to overbeat or the cream will turn to butter.
Unsweetened whipped cream is delicious for most desserts but if sweetened whipped cream is desired, stir the sugar, salt and vanilla into the whipped cream.
