Avis's Fresh Whipped Cream With Ginger
|Heavy cream||2 Cup (32 tbs), chilled|
|Sour cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Confectioner s sugar||5 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Finely chopped ginger||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), candied|
Chill a mixing bowl and the beaters for 30 minutes.
Whip the cream in the chilled bowl on medium speed until it holds stiff peaks.
Add the sour cream, confectioners' sugar, and ground ginger and beat the mixture until it holds stiff peaks again.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Spoon the whipped cream over Strawberries with Brandy and garnish with the candied ginger.
