Boiled New Potatoes With Sour Cream And Chives

Ingredients
  Potatoes 2 Pound
  New potatoes 2 Pound (Small, 900 Gram)
  Butter 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Small onion 1
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Wholemeal 1 Teaspoon
  Whole meal flour 1 Teaspoon
  Sour cream 1⁄4 Pint (150 Milliliter)
  Sea salt To Taste
  Ground black pepper To Taste
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Chives 2 Tablespoon, chopped
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Scrape the potatoes
2. Rinse them well
3. In a large pot, tip in the potatoes and boil them in plenty of hot, salted water and cook for 20 minutes

MAKING
4. In a large sauce pan, heat the butter
5. Add the onion to the saucepan and heat gently till completely soft but not brown
6. Tip in the flour to absorb the butter and stir gently
7. Add sour cream to the pan
8. Season and simmer gently to produce a smooth sauce

FINALIZING
9. Slice the potatoes or place them whole in a serving dish
10. Coat with the sauce

SERVING
11. Serve with chives sprinkled on top
12. Serve hot or cold
