Macaroon Cream

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin envelope 1
  Cold water 2 Tablespoon
  Eggs 4 , separated
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Scalded milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Almond extract 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Almond macaroons 1⁄4 Pound, crumbled (About 1 1/2 Cups)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water. Keep aside.
2) Gently beat egg yolks. Mix with sugar and salt.
3) Mix milk. Cook the contents in the top part of double boiler over boiling water, stirring constantly.
4) Stir in gelatin mixture till well blended.
5) Fold in stiffly beaten whites.
6) Add flavorings as per choice.
7) On the serving dish, spread crumbled macaroons. Pour custard mixture on top.
8) Chill.

SERVING
9) Serve chilled.
