Sour Cream Paprika And Mushrooms's picture
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Ground black pepper To Taste
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Mushrooms 1 Pound, sliced
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon
  Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Black pepper To Taste, ground

Melt the butter in a frying pan and saute the onion and garlic until tender.
Add the mushrooms and cook gently for a further 3 minutes.
Drain off most of the juice, but do not discard.
Add the paprika and cook briefly.
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the sour cream.
You may return it to the heat, but do not let it boil.
Add a little of the drained mushroom juice if the mushrooms need more sauce.
Season to taste.
