Vanilla Ice Cream Dessert
|Chopped almonds||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Toasted)|
|Crumbled coconut macaroons||1 Cup (16 tbs) (6 Cookies)|
|Orange liqueur||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Quart, softened|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Peach sauce||1 Tablespoon|
Generously coat inside of 5-cup mold with shortening; press in chopped almonds.
Place in freezer.
Meanwhile, stir crumbled macaroon cookies and orange-flavored liqueur into softened vanilla ice cream.
Whip cream just till soft peaks form.
Fold into ice cream mixture.
Carefully spoon into prepared mold.
