Fresh Figs With Raspberry Cream

I found this Fresh Figs With Raspberry Cream recipe in an old book. Fresh Figs With Raspberry Cream looked so good that I had to try it out and it did turn out to be very tasty. Make it today!
Ingredients
  Figs 6 Medium
  Cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Heavy Or Whipping)
  Vanilla extract 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Raspberry preserves 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Cut deep "X" through top of each fig, being careful not to cut all the way through. Spread sections slightly apart; set aside.
2. In small bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Fold raspberry preserves into whipped cream.
3. Spoon whipped-cream mixture into large decorating bag with large rosette tube. Pipe whipped-cream mixture into center of each fig.
