Frozen Apple Flavored Orange Cream
|Orange flavor sugar free gelatin||1 Tablespoon (1 Packet, 4 Serving Size, Jell OÂ® Brand)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Skim milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Frozen apple juice concentrate||6 Ounce, thawed (1 Can)|
|Cool whip||1 Cup (16 tbs), thawed, whipped (Cool WhipÂ® LiteÂ®)|
|Canned mandarin orange segments||11 Ounce, well drained (1 Can)|
Completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Stir in milk and apple juice concentrate.
Pour into 13 x 9-inch metal pan.
Freeze until about 1 inch of icy crystals forms around edges, about 1 hour.
Spoon mixture into chilled bowl; beat with electric mixer until smooth.
Gently stir in whipped topping.
Spoon a scant 2/3 cup mixture into each of 8 custard cups.
Freeze about 6 hours or overnight.
