Cranberry Sauce

This is the fifth part of the Thanksgiving series: Cranberry Sauce. Other videos include secrets to a moist turkey, stuffing, sweet potato pie and butternut squash soup. My kids will not eat at any other relatives homes because they love my Thanksgiving meal. It's really easy to make cranberry sauce from scratch. You can make it your own by adding other fruit, fruit juice and/or nuts. When you cook for yourself you can Save Money, Eat Healthier, Live Greener and Have Fun!
Ingredients
  Cranberries 12 Ounce
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Orange juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Basil leaves 10
Directions

MAKING
1. Put a pan on the stove and add the sugar and orange juice and cook down until sugar dissolves.
2. Next, add the cranberries and basil and let it melt down. The cranberries will start popping.
3. Continue to boil for 5-8 minutes.
4. Let the mix cool and then refrigerate it.

SERVING
5. Serve as a relish in a bowl.
