Cranberry Wassail Bowl
|Almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), blanched|
|Seedless raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Orange||1 , rinded|
|Lemon||1 , rinded|
|Whole cloves||1 Teaspoon|
|Coriander seed||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Cinnamon||2 (3 Inch Each)|
|Whole allspice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cranberry juice cocktail||2 Quart|
|Pineapple grapefruit juice||2 Can (20 oz)|
1. In a saucepan with cover bring to boil combining all ingredients except fruit juices and then simmer reducing heat for about 15 minutes.
2. Let it cool and chill fruit juices.
3. If desired, strain spiced mixture and just before serving pour with chilled juices over a block of ice in large punch bowl and serve.
4. Alternately may serve hot in mugs, using Cinnamon Sticks as stirrers.
