Flaming Cranberries A La Mode
|Honey||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely grated orange peel||1 Teaspoon (Or Shredded)|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Fresh cranberries||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Brandy||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In wok combine honey, orange peel, orange juice, and sugar; stir in cranberries.
Boil gently about 5 minutes or till skins pop and mixture is slightly thickened.
In small saucepan or large ladle, heat brandy over low heat till just warm.
Ignite; pour over berry mixture.
Stir after flame dies.
