Pear Cranberry Crumble
|Firm ripe pears||4 Large, peeled, cored, and sliced|
|Cranberries||12 Ounce, rinsed and picked over to remove stems|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Rolled oats||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Not Instant)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cut into 1/2-inch pieces (1 Stick)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 375°.
Toss pears, cranberries, sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon in pie plate until well mixed.
Combine oats, brown sugar, butter, flour, and the remaining cinnamon in mixing bowl; blend with fingertips until mixture is a coarse meal.
Sprinkle oat mixture over fruit and pat down lightly.
Bake until pears are tender and topping is golden, about 45 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
