|Sifted regular all purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Light molasses||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Warm water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Fresh whole cranberries||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Special k||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and spices. Set aside.
2. Mix molasses, water and butter. Add dry ingredients, cranberries and Special K; stir until thoroughly combined. Pour into greased 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
3. Bake in moderate oven (350° F.) about 50 minutes or until done. Serve warm with Nutmeg Sauce, ice cream or whipped topping.
