Cooked Cranberry Orange Relish

Ingredients
  Cranberries 1 Pound, picked over and washed
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grated orange rind 2 Teaspoon
  Orange juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Blanched almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), slivered
Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients except the almonds in a saucepan and cook until the cranberries pop open, about ten minutes.
2. Skim the foam from the surface, add the almonds and cool.
