Graham Cracker Pie
|Melted butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Roll graham crackers until fine.
Mix with sugar and melted butter.
Line a pie plate with mixture.
Filling: Cook in double boiler the above filling ingredients.
Dissolve cornstarch in small amount of milk.
Add rest of milk, sugar and salt and cook about 20 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add slightly beaten egg yolks and cook until thickened.
Add vanilla, then pour into shell.
Beat the 3 egg whites and the 6 tbs.sugar together, put on top of pie.
Sprinkle any remaining cracker crumbs on top of meringue.
Bake at 325 degree oven for 30 minutes.
