Graham Cracker Cake
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Scant)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Broken walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cream butter and sugar together.
Beat egg yolks until they are light and add to butter and sugar mixture.
Then add milk.
Roll or crumble crackers until fine.
Add baking powder, nuts and salt to cracker crumbs.
Now add this to first mixture.
Last add the well-beaten egg whites.
Bake in a moderate oven about 1/2 hour.
