Nutty Crackers

  Unsifted whole wheat flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Wheat germ 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Old fashioned oats 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Peanuts / Walnuts / Almonds)
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted
  Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Combine whole wheat flour, wheat germ, oats, and nuts in a bowl. Mix the butter and water together and gradually add to flour mixture.
3. The dough should cling together in a ball when pressed. On a lightly floured board roll out half the dough to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into 1 1/2-inch circles. Put the circles on an ungreased baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough and scraps.
4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack.
