Crab Newburg is a cooked dish with crab meat and sautéed vegetables like shallots and red peppers. Crab new burg is a main course dish made with actual or imitation crab meat along with vegetables like mushrooms, shallots, red bell peppers. Cheese, butter, flour breadcrumbs are also added to provide body to the dish. It can be flavored with dry sherry and chicken broth/shrimp broth. Served warm along with a dish of green peas, it is a very filling and delicious meal.
