  Ripe avocados 2
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
For the filling:
  Crabmeat 4 Ounce (100 Gram)
  Chopped spring onions 1 Tablespoon
  Diced red pepper 2 Tablespoon
  Finely diced green pepper 2 Tablespoon
  Single cream 2 Tablespoon
  Tabasco sauce 2 Drop (Few Drops)
For the topping:
  Butter/Margarine 1 Ounce (25 Gram)
  Breadcrumbs 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon

Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F, Gas Mark 6.
Halve the avocados and remove the stones.
Put into an ovenproof dish.
Season the lemon juice and sprinkle over the cut surfaces.
Mix all the ingredients for the filling together and spoon in the centre of the avocados.
Melt the butter or margarine and add the breadcrumbs and parsley.
Sprinkle over the topping.
Bake for 10 minutes only.
Serve immediately.
Shellfish blends well with avocados.
It can be varied in many ways; you can use chopped prawns, mussels or smoked fish with or in place of the crab.
Add chopped olives, herbs or other flavourings that blend well with fish.
