Meeting Street Crab - the name might sound strange but the taste will tickle your taste buds for long. The Meeting Street Crab makes a good combination with miniature pastry shells. Serve this Meeting Street Crab dip with assorted crackers.
Ingredients
  Cooked crabmeat 1 Pound
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Black pepper To Taste
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Shredded cheddar cheese 3 Ounce
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Pick through crab to remove any membranes or pieces of shell, set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
Add flour, cook, stirring 30 seconds, or until bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in cream, mixing well.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened.
Remove from heat; add reserved crab.
Pour crab mixture into a buttered 1-quart baking dish, sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven 10 minutes, or until cheese melts.
Serve warm dip with assorted crackers.
Note: The hot crab mixture can be used to fill miniature baked pastry shells.
