Mariners' Casserole

Ingredients
  Fresh crabmeat 1 Pound
  Pimento 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Celery 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced
  Green pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Drained mushrooms 1 Can (10 oz)
  Potato chips 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), slightly crushed
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Medium cheddar cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 400-degrees fahrenheit

MAKING
2 For the sauce: in top of double boiler, mix all the ingredients and stir until smooth.
3 In a 2-quart casserole, arrange alternate layers of crab, vegetables, chips and cheese sauce, ending with chips.
4 Cover and refrigerate.
5 Bake uncovered in oven for 25 minutes or until heated through.

SERVING
6 Serve hot.
