Crab Meat Ravigote

Ingredients
  Crab meat 1 Pound
  Tarragon vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Mayonnaise 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Special Variety)
  Anchovy paste 1 Teaspoon
  Capers 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Chopped onions 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped pimientos 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Flake the crab meat, discarding any cartilage.
Marinate in the vinegar 15 minutes, then drain very well.
Season with the salt and pepper.
Blend together half the mayonnaise, the anchovy paste, capers, onions and pimentos.
Add to the crab meat and mix lightly.
Divide into 6 mounds; place in shells or lettuce cups.
Cover with the remaining mayonnaise and garnish with whole capers, if desired.
