Crab Meat A La Nome
|Canned crabmeat||13 Ounce (2 2/3 Cup, 1 Can)|
|Egg yolk||1 , beaten|
|Light cream/Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Melted butter/Margarine||3 Tablespoon|
|Soft bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Melted fat/Salad oil||1 Tablespoon|
Flake crab meat and combine with the beaten egg yolk, cream, salt, and pepper.
Brush the bread slices on one side with the melted butter, then saute on the buttered side in a skillet until golden brown.
Heap the crab meat mixture on the unbuttered sides of bread.
Sprinkle with the bread crumbs combined with the melted fat, and bake in a hot oven of 400ºF for 10 min.
Serve garnished with parsley.
