Crab Meat Newburg

Ingredients
  Cream/Evaporated milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Crab meat 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Flaked / Canned / Fresh)
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Powdered nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg yolks 2
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Sherry 1 Tablespoon
  Buttered toast slice 6
Directions

1. Heat the cream or milk with the butter or margarine in the top of a double boiler or chafing dish. Add the crab meat, salt, paprika and nutmeg.
2. Beat the egg yolks, add the Worcestershire sauce and sherry and mix a little of the hot liquid with the yolks.
3. Then pour the egg mixture into the sauce. Cook 1 or 2 minutes more over simmering water.
