My simple version of cooking Crab in Cocomilk. You can also add your fave vegetables that fits the cocomilk and crab.
Steamed quartered crab
1 Kilogram (2 Whole, 500 Gram Each)
Red bell pepper
1 , quartered
2 , sliced
1 (Classic Flavor)
Extra virgin olive oil
Put crabs in a large pot, add ½ tsp. of salt and cover with lid, place the pot over a medium heat and steam crabs in their own water for 10min. If crabs are alive, hold the lid during the first minutes. Once crabs are cooked, chop roughly the internal part of the bodies paying attention to not break the back shell which is useful for decoration, break carefully shell of the claws and set aside. In a large frying pan, add olive oil and sweat onions and ginger, once golden, add garlic and let it fry for 1min. Add crabs, coco milk, broth cube and ground pepper. Mix well and simmer for 3min, add bell pepper and white part of green onions, let simmer for 1min and then add green onions.
