Pecan Syrup Pie
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Maple syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Pecan halves||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Unbaked 9-inch pie shell||1|
|Whipping cream||1 (as required)|
Cream butter or margarine thoroughly; add sugar gradually, continuing to cream.
Stir in syrups, a little at a time.
Beat eggs slightly, and add to mixture.
Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Turn into pastry shell.
Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350°F and bake 20 minutes or until almost set.
Before serving swirl whipped cream on top.
