|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Almond extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Mandarin oranges/Fruit cocktail / sliced||1 Cup (16 tbs), canned|
|Almond sugar syrup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Soften gelatin in 1/3 cup cold water.
Add 3/4 cup boiling water and sugar and stir until gelatin and sugar are dissolved.
Add milk, flavoring and, if desired, food coloring to tint a delicate shade.
Mix well, pour into 8-inch square pan and chill until set.
Cut in 1/2-inch cubes and mix with fruits and syrup as desired.
Top with a mint sprig, if desired.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
