Schnitz Pie

Ingredients
  9 inch pastry shell 1 (Pie Plate Lined With Pastry)
  Apples 4 Medium
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Sour cream/Top milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Peel and core apples and cut into 1/4, 1/3 or 1/6 according to size.
Mix flour and sugar and sprinkle a little of this mixture over unbaked pie shell.
Arrange apples and then sprinkle remainder of flour and sugar mixture on top.
Dot with butter and a dusting of cinnamon.
Cover with 1/2 cup of sour cream or top milk and bake until the apples are tender in a 375° F. oven.
