Run For The Roses Pie
|Granulated sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter margarine/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted and slightly cooled|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Semi sweet chocolate morsels||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pie shell||1 , unbaked|
Combine sugar, flour, butter, eggs, bourbon and vanilla in a mixer bowl; beat until well blended.
Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts.
Pour filling into pie shell.
Bake in a preheated 325°F oven 50 to 60 minutes, or until pie is set and top cracks.
Cool on rack.
