Cheese-Onion Pie

Cheese-Onion Pie has a scrumptious taste. The cheese and bacon gives the Cheese-Onion Pie a cool taste. Cheese-Onion Pie is inspired by restaurants internationally. Must catch it.
Ingredients
  Shortening/Bacon drippings 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shredded cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Unbaked 9 inch pie shell 1
  Eggs 3 , beaten
  Dairy sour cream/Sour cream substitute 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
Directions

1. Using bacon drippings or shortening, stir-fry chopped onion until tender.
2. In bottom of pie shell, spread onion and shredded cheese.
3. Combine beaten eggs, sour cream, salt, and pepper in mixing bowl. Pour over onion-cheese mixture in pie shell.
4. Bake at 375°F 25 to 30 minutes, or until center is set. Do not overbake.
