Topper Corn Bread
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Corn muffin mix/Cornbread mix||8 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Shredded sharp process american cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Celery seed||1 Teaspoon|
Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown.
Prepare mix according to package directions; spread batter in a greased 10x 6x1 1/2 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over batter; dot onion butter mixture over all; sprinkle with celery seed.
Bake in moderate oven (375Â°) about 20 minutes or till done.
Serve at once.
