Corn Bread Pie
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Corn bread mix||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Canned tomato soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chili powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Mix milk, corn bread mix and sugar; set aside.
Brown beef and onion; add soup, water and seasonings.
Mix and simmer for 15 minutes.
Pour into large skillet or 9-inch baking dish.
Top with corn bread batter and bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.
