|Cornmeal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl.
Combine milk, egg, and oil, add to cornmeal mixture.
Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Spoon batter into a greased 8-inch square pan.
Bake at 425°F for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cut into 6 rectangles.
