Hot Corn Bread
|Buttermilk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||6 Teaspoon|
|Cornmeal||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Cooking oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Grease a 13 X 9 1/2 X 2-inch cake pan generously.
Put in oven to heat while mixing batter.
Stir in milk and oil.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and soda together into first mixture.
Add corn-meal and beat together with a rotary beater until smooth.
Pour into prepared pan and bake until set, about 25 minutes.
Cut in large squares and serve very hot with butter.
